Brazil is the largest producer and exporter of coffee in the world, responsible for almost a third of all coffee consumed globally. It is a major coffee origin known for cultivation in the Minas Gerais region, whose rich soil and climate provide an ideal environment for growing. With its lower acidity, Brazilian coffee is widely enjoyed.

As consumers increasingly demand traceability, coffee labeled as "Cerrado" has protected Designation of Origin status, meaning it must originate from Brazil's Cerrado region. This smooth, well-rounded coffee from Fazenda Santa has low acidity and a medium body with chocolate and caramel notes. It makes a tasty standalone coffee and is also used in some of our blends.

This is our go-to coffee for when we are craving a rich, dark, chocolate body.
